AWWU updates its master plans periodically to help it operate its transmission and distribution systems effectively and efficiently. During the planning process, the Utility also identifies and prioritizes anticipated capital improvement needs over a 20-year timeframe, which helps it implement cost-effective and responsive service updates based on community needs.
