Treatment Plant Operator Certification
Alaska Regulations (18 AAC 74) require operators of water and wastewater treatment plants be certified. The Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation (ADEC) develops training programs, administers examinations, and certifies operators of community water and wastewater systems under the The Operator Training and Certification Program
AWWU does not certify treatment plant operators.
Reciprocity may be available for operators certified in other states.
