Mr. Jacobsen is General Counsel and Vice President for Alyeska Pipeline Service Company, responsible for legal, insurance and claims, lands, and regulatory affairs.

He was born and raised in Alaska and was a graduate of West High in Anchorage. An avid outdoorsman, he spends his free time with his wife Rosy, skiing, road biking and running. He is a member of the Rails to Trails Club and the Nordic Skiing Association of Anchorage, and is a veteran of many long distance road biking events in and out of Alaska.

He has been employed by Alyeska Pipeline Service Company since 1991, including serving as in-house counsel for environmental and regulatory issues before assuming the position of General Counsel in 2002. Mr. Jacobsen holds a bachelor’s of science degree in Engineering from the University of Alaska Fairbanks and a juris doctorate from Willamette College of Law in Oregon.
