David M. Richards is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Management Accountant with long experience in matters of public and private Finance. He was employed in the Controller Division of the Municipality of Anchorage from 2001 to 2006, active in several supervisory positions and culminating in his appointment as Controller for the city in 2004. He left the Municipality for private industry, where he has served as Vice-President and Controller for Era Aviation.
He enjoys fishing, photography, hiking, and kayaking.
